Once you have made a booking with our office, your booking is confirmed.
We understand that circumstances can change unexpectedly, however late cancellations pose an extreme burden on the hospital, anaesthetist, and our practice, as your place cannot always be taken by another patient at short notice.
We therefore respectfully request that as much notice as possible is given if you wish to cancel or change the date of your booking for surgery. Unfortunately, a cancellation fee will be charged if less than two weeks’ notice is given or if there is failure to attend on the day. Exceptions are allowed in the case of unforeseen medical circumstances.
